Italian Waxed Smooth Grain: The Refined, Put-Together Option

The Italian Waxed Leather Watch Strap (£22.99, currently in Red Brown) is made from genuine Italian calfskin with a smooth waxed grain, contrast off-white stitching, and a lightly padded profile. It's thinner than the cowhide option (2.7 - 4.8mm) and reads as noticeably dressier - this is the one for an office desk or a smart-casual look, not a weekend knockabout strap.

It needs a short break-in period. Like any genuine leather, both straps will feel slightly stiff for the first few days of wear. That's normal - it loosens and moulds to your wrist quickly, and that's also when the patina starts to develop.

Keep it away from heavy sweat and water.
